Hello Julian, Not certain but we haven't been able to duplicate the problem you are having with the renaming of the Icon. Each and every time we have tried and used the Save button. WE have had luck.
So I would be very curious if others have these problems as well? As for the Screen Curtains. That is correct we have indeed mentioned that we felt they had fixed this issues. Apparently, some are still experiencing the problems. Weirdly, we do still do not have this issue. Even though I had this problem in my IOS 6.0.2. Now I don't have this problem at all. Be sure to check out a comment that an user has stated about what they thought might resolved this issue by going in to your iTunes on your computer. As again, I also would like to see how many people still experience the same issue where it does not stick for you when VO is turned off and on. Thanks so much! According to applevis.com the folowing problem was resolved but not so on my device even after a full reboot: At times when you have the Screen Curtain turned on, toggling VoiceOver off and then back on would result in VoiceOver forgetting the setting of the Screen Curtain. Has this been resolved in 6.1? Yes. This appears to have been resolved. Also, they apparently improved button labeling but not icon labeling. I have 2 apps in the same folder. One is a lite bersion and the other the full version of the same game. If I try to relabel the lite version, VO calls them both "lite" Julian On 1/28/13, Robert Fenton <[email protected]> wrote: > Hello everybody: > > The bug I experienced with reading webpages and email messages > generated outside of the United States in languages other than English > still exists when the US English voice is selected as the default. > When this kind of content is accessed, VoiceOver will attempt to read > it in the language of the country where the email or website is > generated from this even happens if the message is written in English. > However, if you switch the voice to British English or Australian > English, the message reads fine.
