What is the proper way to position the phone when walking using Blind
Square?
The instructions say to put the phone in your pocket with the screen facing 
backward; do they mean backward as in facing what's behind you as you're
walking or do they mean facing away from you as if looking ahead of you if
that makes sense. If I put the phone with the screen facing behind me in my front pants pocket the screen will be facing into my thigh and if it's in my back pocket facing away from me there will be nothing against it so do they 
mean for you to have it in your back pocket?
Also, when I'm in a certain business; it will tell me what's nextdoor but it 
won't list the name of the business that I'm at.

I'm not registered with Four Square so will that make a difference?
Last week I was sitting outside a pizza place and I was holding the phone in 
my hand and it said that Good Fellas Pizza was at 3:00 and 40 feet away. I
could reach out and touch the building. Note that this is in a strip mall
and not right along the street. Would that make a difference?

Sorry about all of these questions but I'm totally new to using GPS or
anything like it!

I doubt whether you'll be disappointed, this is the only GPS app I use when on foot. It really does a great job. I would recommend this app to anybody.
