I find the new Four Square app very easy to use.
I like the new layout and I do not have any trouble with it
finding the places I am at.
It is very responsive for me.

If you for go the update all option, you can update individual
apps,
so you can just skip the app you don't want to update. This
only works
if you know you want to avoid an update. If you are trail
blazing for
the rest of us though, you might want to roll back an update.
My own experience with Four Square is a few accessibility issues
seem
to show up in each major update but Four Square is pretty good
about
getting them resolved fairly quickly in subsequent minor
updates. It
might be a good candidate to skip updating until you get the
thumbs up
from the list.
BTW, I've read of some apps available to you if you jail break
that
will allow you to pin an app at a certain level. This way, you
can
avoid some tedium by using the update all button while keeping
some
problem apps from being updated.

If you haven't updated on your computer or synced with your
computer
since the upgrade, you could delete the app from your phone and
then
sync it again from your computer. Otherwise, you can't do it.

know nothing of jail breaking, but that may give an option to

grade an app.
