Yes, you can get viruses on Android phones and jail broken iPhones. Your
chances of getting any malware on an unjail broken iPhone is pretty
remote though. IOS itself isn't necessarily secure but given the limited
way you can get applications and content onto your iPhone and the fact
that Apple gets reported malware out of the App Store pretty quickly,
makes the iPhone pretty safe.
