No, you cannot get such an app, and if your iPhone isn't jail broken,
you don't really need to worry about it.
IOS doesn't have the hooks in it or an SDK available to allow antivirus
companies to develop apps to scan for viruses.

what is it called? I read most of my emails on my iPhone or iPad. I don't open

virus and would like to be able to do an ocasional scan for viruses.

Yes, you can get viruses on Android phones and jail broken iPhones. Your
chances of getting any malware on an unjail broken iPhone is pretty remote
though. IOS itself isn't necessarily secure but given the limited way you can
get applications and content onto your iPhone and the fact that Apple gets
reported malware out of the App Store pretty quickly, makes the iPhone pretty
safe.

Hi All
I have a question. Can a person get a virus on an Android phone or an Apple
device? Logical reasoning, people checking emails and using the internet, would
make me think that the answer to my question is yes. So if getting a virus is
indeed possible, are there apps that can be used to scan devices for viruses?
Which app would you recommend using?
I apologize to those whom see my question a stupid question.
