Thanks, ,David. What happens if someone was unfortunate enough to have downloaded one of these 5 malware apps? Are they somehow magically removed from a phone by an Apple process? Does Apple notify the iPhone user to remove the app? How can someone find out the 5 malware apps to make sure they're not on their device?

None of these apps remained in the App Store for more than 3 days. There have been significantly over a thousand malware apps on the Google Play Store, several of which are currently available. As for viruses, there has not yet been a successful virus spread across iPhones that are not jailbroken. Android, and jailbroken iOS have been successfully hit by viruses multiple times.
