Thanks, ,David.

What happens if someone was unfortunate enough to have downloaded one of these
5 malware apps? Are they somehow magically removed from a phone by an Apple
process? Does Apple notify the iPhone user to remove the app? How can someone
find out the 5 malware apps to make sure they're not on their device?

Thanks. Keith

Ok, to be specific, in the past three years, there have been exactly five
malware apps which made it onto the iPhone. None of these apps remained in the
App Store for more than 3 days. There have been significantly over a thousand
malware apps on the Google Play Store, several of which are currently available.

As for viruses, there has not yet been a successful virus spread across iPhones
that are not jailbroken. Android, and jailbroken iOS have been successfully hit
by viruses multiple times.

According to the latest metrics I have read, iOS and Windows Phone are the
safest platforms.
