It's a windows xp laptop. The thing that makes me think it's the
laptop rather than the phone, is that the phone is recognized by other
computers when plugged in. The main problem of the moment is that all
her contacts etc are on "that" laptop and she wants to get them onto
her new phone. The other strange thing is that everything else on the
laptop in question is working like a champ, however none of the USB
ports are working.
