I use iCloud to backup my iPhone, but I'll go ahead and do an encrypted backup to my PC before upgrading to IOS 7. I doubt I'll need it, but it doesn't take much time or effort, so I figure why not.

I already remove apps from my phone that are unusable, but I won't remove any apps that I don't use before the upgrade. If an app is accessible, but I haven't really taken to using it yet, I'll go ahead and keep it around just in case.

I'll upgrade to IOS 7 when I have some time to play with it and explore it's new features, which will probably be on the weekend. I don't want to be running into some new features when I'm in a hurry and need my iPhone for something. It's probably nothing I need to worry about, but I don't need to move up right away, so I'll just do it when it works into my schedule.

Hi,

It was strongly suggested to me to delete all the apps I never use knowing
that it will not cost me anything to put them back on if I decide to use
them
I think I will follw the advice as I do have apps on there I never use.
There are always apps we download to try them and end up always using the
apps we prefer so, no harm in dumping them.

I also noticed that it is wise not to do the upgrade on the day it comes
out. I don't know if its because the servers are too busy but it often
happens that there errors in the downloads. I usually wait 1 or 2 days
after the release. After all, what's the rush. My current version is
working well.

I haven't heard that you need to do anything, either through any information
from Apple, news feeds or in chatting to IOS 7 beta users. I think all you
need is a good backup.

I am asking this question only because IOS-7 is so different. I have never

but is there anything else?
