Hi, Well, yes, sluggishness or lack of it is definitely a matter of perception and is very subjective. On my 4s, navigating on the home screen is very responsive and I don't mind the little bit of extra time that it takes for it to open an app. However, when navigating and performing actions within apps, it is often much slower than it was before. I can't give you specific examples at the moment but it definitely has a sort of sluggish feel to it running IOS7. If you have an opportunity, you might want to use a 4s, running IOS7, before buying one. The sluggishness that I am talking about isn't really apparent until you use it for a while. Just moving around the home screen and opening a couple apps, you probably won't notice it and you might not notice it just from listening to someone using it. Now, don't get me wrong. I still love my iPhone and I am not about to go upgrade from my 4s just because of this. However, I have used both my wife's 4 and my 4s with IOS7 and, based on this, I think that you may not see as much of a performance difference between the two as you might think. Thanks, Scott Duck

Well to my mind that depends on what you mean by sluggish. I heard a friend's iPhone 4s running iOS 7. Navigating the home screen snaps and so is typing but you got to be careful as it can get a bit racy so to speak. I did hear perhaps a few seconds delay from double tapping on an app to its launch, but that's not a show stopper for me. But that's me and you might prefer things to happen in an instant.
