Hi Robin, Well, Chris may be right as I may have had the HQ voice installed already and just had not activated it. Anyway, it's unfortunate that the voices we depend on aren't as good as in prior versions of the OS. I have communicated with Apple about this, but don't know whether they can or even if they will address this issue.
