Put in thumb and 2 fingers almost 5 days ago, still working fine no matter
which finger I touch. Try taking a paper towel or something very soft and as
dust free and wipe home button. May help. I have extremely dry finger pads too
so maybe helps too. I thought too I would have problems, but seems to be
working. Now watch, next time it will stop! (smiley) Oh, have you tried turning
off and on the phone?

Dear listers

I heard on a recent iFive podcast someone saying that this was an issue for
them and asking if anyone knew of a solution. It’s the same for me too so I was
wondering if anyone on this list knew if this was likely to be fixed with a
firmware update. I can program in a finger or thumb and it works fine for a day
or so then it doesn’t work – not even a small percentage of the time – it just
never works thereafter until I reprogram and then it works 100% of the time for
a day or so.

Any comments welcomed, Robin.
