Interesting, Chuck. You're info is contrary to product reviews which
indicate it cannot be programmed via the iPhone. You can view current
status and change the temperature, but you can't do the daily programming.
My other question would be whether you can connect it to the wifi router
without sighted help.

where?

+1 on the Radio Thermostat. I bought mine from Amazon 13 months ago.
Here is a link:
http://www.amazon.com/Homewerks-Thermostat-CT-30-H-K2-Wireless-Module/dp/B004YZFU1Q/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1387128336&sr=8-1&keywords=radio+thermostat

I had my neighborhood heating and air conditioning guy install it.

I have it set to lower the temperature after 11:00 PM and to raise it at
7:00 AM. With my iPhone on my night stand, I can make any adjustments right
from my bed. :)
Only thing that would make it better would be if it could bring me my
morning coffee. maybe on the next update.

The company is very aware of its voice over users and keeps the app simple
and accessible.

 Chuck
