Chucck is correct, the scheduling function is accessible although I find it's not as intuitive as it could be. As far as connecting the thermostat to the WiFi, this is better done with sighted help. The process on the phone is accessible, but at one point a 5-digit code is displayed on the thermostat and it has to be entered in the app. I did once get the code by using Skype and showing it to somebody via video, but it's definitely easier if somebody is there. We just had an 18-hour power outage and after the power came back the app told me my thermostat was offline, but it then asked if I wanted to reconnect it and I double tapped on the OK button. To my surprise no further action was required and after about a minute or so the thermostat was reconnected to WiFi and online. You can view current status and change the temperature, but you can't do the daily programming. I have it set to lower the temperature after 11:00 PM and to raise it at 7:00 AM.
