Lori, you don't need iTunes to download and install the 7.1.1 update. You've already found it. Where it said download and install, is where you double tap. I suggest you have your iPhone charged to greater then 50 percent to be safe. We're only talking a 15 meg download so it's not going to bust the bank.
As to your question about LTE, it's there version of 4G. If you still need help, you have my number. The albums in Technics format formerly on my website are still available upon request. Then I swiped over to the left once and it said at&t network 2 of 5 bars signal strength. But what is LTE? then it says status bar item. When I touch the settings icon it will say double tap to open. But when I go to settings thenI double tap on general and that opens up then I double tap on software update and IOS 7.11 is there waiting for me to download. Right now I have IOS 7.1 on my I phone 5. And IOS 7.11 says download and install. I can use siri just fine but using my gmail app to check email is a different story and right now I'm having issues with my gmail app. But that issue and problem is for another day. Take care.
