Yes, agreed. I said the other day that I was able to move items into the
dock and get them out of the first page, but tonight I couldn't do that at
all and am totally stuck now, unable to move a couple of apps around!
I'll take everything out of the App Switcher, reboot and try again, but can
do nothing else! <Smiles>

No, that ability to move apps got broke with iOS *. Used to work great
and could move any app from anywhere. Now, I might be able to move one
app, then it jus tstops working and I can't move any more apps. Another
huge anoying bug.

OK, I've had a number of occasions with the latest firmware and apps not
moving, especially but not only on the Home page. So far I have found
that the only solution is to make a space in your doc at the bottom of the
screen (moving out to another page something that you later put back) and
I've then been able to get things moved about.
It seems to me that part of the problem lies in the fact that sometimes
apps are almost on top of each other and not correctly aligned, maybe
because we've tried to put too many apps on a page.
Anyway, so far I've done these things (revamping all of the four pages on
my 4S, with success.
Hope this helps.

Hello, back in the IOS 7 days, I could move apps. into and out of
folders, and the folders themselves. I tried moving an app that I
had installed back into it's folder, and couldn't make it work. I
double tap and hold, get the usual sound, but then can't find
anything else on the screen! I'm on the latest version of IOS ,
using an iPhone 5. any help will be appreciated!
