Doesn't sound like something you'd have seen with VNC 4.
Client or Server ?
IIRC, when we set this up, VNC 4 was either not out, or was so 'new' that we decided to stick with 3 on the PCs - we'll probably roll out an upgrade when time permits, but for the moment we want all the PCs on the same version.
As far as the Mac goes, I'm not aware of any VNC4 capable viewers - do you know different ? This is suddenly a bit of a headache as we now have a piece of kit that I can't talk to with either Chicken of the VNC or the Java Viewer.
