I say curious, because on the same page is the so-called "Texas New Mexico Ring" ... and he overlooks somehow that it positioned directly over Midland Texas. At worst, Dawson could have accelerated by a few weeks or months a quake that was going to happen anyway, and they had no way of knowing where or when, nor the level of destruction which might follow. Which is not to say that "someone" did not take notice of the incident in its entirety, and that someone might have a way of knowing where or when "beneficial" tragedies can be triggered.
