I would think that the mission is not to take claims on faith and to do the
best possible job of evaluating them correctly.

Perhaps we should be pleased that intelligent skeptics have chosen to post

Want to be convinced? How about "want to know the facts and the truth"?

I just hope that these same skeptics will stay around to chew a bit of shoe

Rossi is quite clear that his target is to make a million units in calendar
year 2012. Defkalion are quite clear about a target for 300,000 larger and
more powerful machines in about the same time frame. They say they are
getting independent testing "soon". Do you not believe them? Are they
lying?

I'm really curious about why you think there *is* a customer. What do you
know about it other than what Rossi said? And even Jed admits Rossi has a
low regard for the truth. And remember, Rossi invited scientists and
reporters to that test and then did not allow them to see any of the data
being taken so the data Rossi provided, such as it is, has to be taken
entirely on faith as well.

The E-Cat presently does have periods of infinite OU - but still has extreme

I can't agree with that. If the technology (I mean Rossi's and Defkalion's
claims, not LENR/cold fusion in general) were real, it would be possible to
mobilize a huge force of talent and money to tame it and make it work
optimally. There is not one shred of evidence that either Rossi or
Defkalion is doing that or planning to.
