The factory will be large enough to scale up to 300,000 units per year eventually. They have never said they hope to produce 300,000 the first year. Automobile factories that are intended to produce ~100,000 cars usually produce a few thousand the first year. GM intended to build 10,000 Volts in 2011. They ended up making 25,000 I think, and this year they hope to make a lot more. Clearly their factory is big enough. - Jed
