Vorl, RE: frenzied chicken counting... I suggest you go back in the Vortex-l archive to ~Feb 2011, and start reading. This is long *before* MY showed up, and you will find plenty of skepticism from the usual contributors here, including myself. There were postings about Petroldragon, the non-performing TEC, the problems with the E-Cat demos, the sometimes contradictory statements by Rossi and DGT. Very few were counting chickens. Yes, most of us were 'hopeful', and still are, but for some reason, you and MY think that things are black and white, either/or. It seems that you and MY think that being 'hopeful' blinds us to the negative aspects; that being 'hopeful' turns our skeptical mind off. I reject that assumption without reservation because the evidence/facts do not support it. To really understand this forum, you need to be here for at least a year; or at least study a year's worth of postings...
I'll bet that when the E-Cat controversy is all over, whether or not Rossi or DGT are successful, that Mary will stop contributing to this forum, but the regulars will be here for many years to come; some, literally, until they die. You are probably not aware of it, but the Collective saw two very ol' timers die last year. They are missed. That's what makes this forum different from nearly all others that I'm aware of. It has lasted for over 15 years, with many of the same people. You cannot say that about many similar discussion groups... none that I'm aware of. They come and go in a few years. When an E-Cat demo had taken place, MY had some valuable comments, and I never chastised her, or anyone, for that kind of contribution. Analyzing those demos is a horse that has long ago been beaten to a pulp. By now, each person has established some level of 'truth' to whether they think the E-Cat is functioning in an OU manner. For the last two months, which is about half the time Mary has been posting here, the only thing going on are business-related activities which involve personalities and business practices. If a person has NO inside information about DGT or Rossi's biz, then the only thing they can do is *speculate* on developments; speculations are not 'truth', which Mary claims to be her only objective. Tell me Vorl, what 'truth' has come from all of the speculations and suspicions of scam that have been dumped on this forum for that last two months???
