Given the extraordinary claim being made, we should all wait
for a truly independent report before accepting this as real.
Nonsense. Are you unaware of successful reports of gain in Ni-H going back
to 1990? Thermacore had a gainful unit running for over a year - in the 10
watt range of gain. Focardi also.
The only thing truly extraordinary about Rossi's recent claim and
semi-independent validation, is that he is showing gain at the level of
hundreds of watts and at a temperature where direct conversion of heat to
electricity (thermionic or photoelectric) should produce a self-running
device soon... but only to the extent that we do not wait.
The is no good reason for others to wait on Rossi, when the world is
presently sending a trillion dollars/Euros per annum to some of the most
unstable governments on earth, a few of whom are terrorist nations.
Obviously Rossi is not going to share his trade secrets with others, but
that should not limit the USA and the EC from shifting most of the money
going into such boondoggles as ITER and hot fusion- into attempts to
duplicate what he Rossi done.
If even there is a chance that Rossi is some kind of twisted con-man - we
should advocate for the equivalent of a Manhattan project - aimed squarely
at this technology - based as much on what happened before Rossi... as
after.
