If you want to see a different way (and cheap way) of tying heavy flies,
I'll scan some of my flies when I'll be back in Seattle.
They are really heavy and tied on hooks as "small" as a TMC 5262 #8. They
don't look good but fish like them, what can you ask more than that?
Like I say, if your fly sinks, you will catch fish.
