Am I the only one annoyed with Gracenote and iTunes 6. Every time I put a new shop-purchased music CD in the computer there is an automatic connect to Gracenote and down comes a whole lot of usually error riddled information about what is supposed to be on the disk.
Tardiness seems to have been a rule of thumb in many of the CD entries from Gracenote I am now forced to endure. Some data like the titles and album names can be corrected, but other columns like Disk#, Year and Comment can't. Unlike with previous versions of iTunes there now doesn't appear to be any way of stopping the auto-connect feature, apart from unplugging the modem. Have I missed something obvious with these observations? If not, I wonder If I can trash iTunes 6 and try going back to the previous version? My machine has iTunes 6 on SYS 19.3.9 Gripingly, Paul. -- Dr Paul Weaver http://www.livejournal.com/users/fremantlebiz/calendar
