If you remove the com.apple.itunes.plist file in you home/library/preferences folder the setup assistant will run again and it asks you (among other things) whether you want itunes to connect automatically to the internet when needed. Presumable if you answer no at this point you would then need to use the method described by Reg below to automatically get the track names. HTH R o b
