Hi Paul, I use the same version of iTunes and OS X on my machine, but I do not have the same problem as yours. I do not know what Gracenote is, presumably an application that populates the info for the Audio CD you have. Wonder if you did install it on your computer?
If not, then maybe it is a setting somewhere in iTunes 6 that needs to be changed. Sorry I do not have a solution to offer, but thought to let you know I do not encounter this problem. My system is OS X 10.3.9 and iTunes 6. Best of luck and to all WAMUG readers all the best for 2006.
