Hi Daniel Yes I have deleted everything I could find relating to any version of office. Perhaps I should say again these were working fine until last Friday!!
I have created new users so the problem can't be in the user directory I believe but in the main system but as to where?????? Or perhaps Microsoft have expired word : )) thanks for your help regards Roger Hi Roger (Thanks for the reply off list. Just keeping this on list, so others can follow, and someone may have extra ideas well.) Had a Google search for Word crashing errors, and found this, which might be of help. I could be a conflict with something else left behind of a previous version, or it's bringing up a file that is corrupt on each start. But more so, perhaps something in a folder conflicting amount the Word versions. There are a lot of different preference files and folders with Office, so you have to make sure to delete or remove them all.
