Hi Peter Thank you again for your assistance. For new users this forum is most helpful I did go into Configure and the Printer rectangle showed Default I changed this to C5300 Series but this has not made any difference. The printer is enabled and connected I still cannot print in Windows mode
Strange thing is that my initial query with the forum and HP was that I could not scan but in the early stages I could print within Windows Many changes have been made at the direction of HP and I feel that there is something that has been changed that is now proving to be a barrier to me now When I go into Control Panel> Printers I have the printer connected to LPT1 The Printer shown is the C5300 Series Software is installed and all showing but this is a result of installing the HP software as the system did not recognise the printer when connected I may need you to come over and assist me on site. Are you available for house calls??
