I'm pretty new to the list and was surprised to see these new rules applied to an email list. I'm on a few and charging for the right to post is something I have never come across before and seems a little odd. My initial thoughts were that its a good way to put a big dent in the active community that is here. Having said that it sounds like a lot of thought was put in to the decision so all the best with that, I'm happy to lurk.
