Hi Alan,
My little Perez wishes we could go on our normal 5KM everyday walks.
I have not been able to walk Perez since the end of January :(
I hope to be able to go a short distance in the near future.
Re: your Safari problem: something is very wrong on your computer or Safari
install.
Can you access the websites if you startup in Safe Mode? (shift key down at
startup.)
Can you access these websites on your other Mac which is running the same
version of OS X 10.8.3 & Safari?
Other things to try:
From your Safari menu bar
click Safari > Preferences then select the Privacy tab. Cookies and other
website data: Click: Remove All Website Data.
Quit then relaunch Safari.
See if you access the sites now.
If not:
Do you have any extensions in Safari? Safari > Preferences - Extensions.
Try disabling all the extensions
If you can access the sites then, try enabling one at a time and test to find
out which one is the problem.
Are you using any proxies?
Go to System Preferences > Network - select the connection you are using (Wi-Fi
or Ethernet), then click the Advanced button, then 'Proxies' check that NOTHING
is selected here.
If you made any changes, click the "OK" button and then click the "Apply"
button to make the changes permanent.
Close the Network window.
If you made any changes, restart your Mac and then check to see if this fixed
the problem.
Cheers,
Ronni
