Can you open iPhoto from the Dock with the Option Key held down and see the dialog window... "Which Photo Library do you want iPhoto to use" What Libraries show there?... iPhoto Library - if so click 'choose'
In the Pictures folder do you have "Aperture Library.aplibrary" If so what version is it?
