As far as I can see it, Eidos is not an author. It is a distributer. The Pumpkin guys are the ones who actually wrote the game. I am not saying that Eidos should not be included in copyright notice, but AUTHORS file is not suitable for this. This is a piece of copyright file I wrote for Debian packaging: - ----- Upstream Authors: Originally developed by Pumpkin Studios, and published by Eidos Interactive in year 1999. Warzone Resurrection Project, in alphabetical order: .... Copyright: (c) 1999, Eidos Interactive (c) 1999, Pumpkin Studios (c) 2004 - 2006, Warzone Resurrection Project <warzone-dev@gna.org> - ----- No modifications were made to Warzone 2100 during 1999 - 2004, so no copyright statement is needed here. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.5 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQFFEtvWztOe9mov/y4RAqw/AKDQWuUTjU79V3qIYiMvVFRXUcm79ACcD5Lg ucwCbJUX4FMxer34IMAblrc= =E9E5 -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ Warzone-dev mailing list Warzone-dev@gna.org https://mail.gna.org/listinfo/warzone-dev
