Could Kirill set up a separate site (say "FundWave.com") and offer
"bounties" to any developer who successfully developed/fixed (and had their
code committed) a given feature or bug? Basically
BountySource<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BountySource>specific to
Wave.

Or it could [also/instead] run like Kickstarter allowing devs to propose a
feature or other time-intensive improvement and let others donate money to
fund that specific feature. This option would allow the general community
of Wave users directly support the projects that mattered (i.e. are
usefull) to them.

This would separate the "official" Apache development process from the
money side, but allow Kirill and others to help fund the development of
Wave. A link could be placed on the Apache Wave site indicating the
"FundWave" purpose and it's non-official connection to the project.

How's that sound? My company (GJX Hosting) would love to co-sponsor such a
site.

God Bless,
Kyle Johnston
