Well this really all started when I tried the demo version of TopStyle. I
like the program but it requires a local web server to preview the
documents. One thing led to another and . . . well you know how it goes.
Why is it things escalate so much? Even at home-- I start to clean the light
switches, then I realize the wall needs painting, next thing you know I am
in the middle of reroofing the house! Oh well , anyway for the site in
question: I inherited this site and it was built in FrontPage so I am using
FP for the updates. The CSS doesn't display correctly and I keep getting
JavaScript error messages until I publish.

Yes, I did find many solutions doing a Google search-- which is where I got
the idea for SimpleServer and Abyss. I was hoping to get some feedback from
real users on list-- not just blindly follow something recommended from
Google.

Perhaps I have not delved into FrontPage enough-- I will check and see if I
have the preferences set incorrectly for displaying includes.

Thanks for the idea.

Janet
