If I can get Apache working, then I won't need to upgrade to XP Pro as there is nothing else I need -- at least that I know of at the moment. If you read German you'll find more tutorials than you need. If not, you might try some of these: (the good news is this actually goes pretty easily): http://www.apachefriends.org/index-en.html http://www.mac-connect.com/genericAMP.php specifically for WindowsXP http://php.weblogs.com/apache_windows If you seach on google, you might want to use "Windows Apache mysql php" instead of WAMP. WAMP brings up a lot of sites for Congressman Zach Wamp. Some nice irony in having to use open source solutions to the limitations of windowsxp. You might want to try tseditor. Nice color codes for tags and you can link as many browsers as you like for preview. http://www.tswebeditor.tk (yes tk - Tokelau) I'd suggest getting rid of the front page on the site you inherited as fast as possible but I don't want to offend Cheryl.
