At the risk of another "ditto" -- YES! I very, very much appreciate
ya'll taking the time to explain arcane things that actually have
application to rearl-world things today.

I can only hope that this list is not an anomoly - and that there are
others on the net like our UNIX guys here who are willing to offer help,
intelligently answer questions -- and serve as wonderful testaments to
an alternative way of computing.

I really liked the suggestion (I forget whose - Michael?) that DEC and
MS could be comparable boheamoths at different points in time.
