I should have expanded a little. Not talking about the
site they are building but about making some type of
low maint site that is like a hobby site. Hey, I like
these tests...looka at my page...look at the links!

I dont have? Enter them here. Blah-Blah....Put it up
at tripod or Geo, etc., maybe two places.
Dont hype and dont push, just do it with the gusto of
a newbie(to the web) hobbiest finding the best thing
ever. Most of all make it a fun site vs. a
commercial one.
The truely addicted will find it. The truely-truely
addicted will visit every unfamiliar link and end up
buying the CD. Of course you still have to do the
search engine thing.
I just think taht over a period of time a hobby page
that is maintained can develop reciprocal linking that
a commercial page never will. I also feel that the
hobbiest sites get a more favorable look at being used
for a "site of the day".
