Adam is correct in his assessment of how the matrix works. MPC is
ANTI-SPAM. I did NOT spam this list as insinuated by George when I
recommended to Larry that he look at the site. MPC does NOT tolerate spam
("unsolicited" email). I was offering Larry a possible solution to HIS
problem and an answer to HIS question that he posted to the list -- one
that I recommend to any business looking for a virtually UNLIMITED web
host. Most hosts either limit webspace to 10-25 meg, offer no cgi
scripting, limit traffic to 500 meg/month, charge extra for DN hosting,
charge additional setup fees, or limit some other area and charge nearly as
much as MPC for their drastically under-featured, over-priced service. I
have been investigating hosting services for nearly four years. I
recommended MPC because in my own research, I have determined to my own
satisfaction that they offer the BEST deal for the money paid. The fact
that your monthly fee can be reduced (or eliminated completely) by
referring others to use their services is just icing on the cake. If
readers on this list are incapable of recognizing the value to price ratio
of this service, then go ahead and continue to recommend to your clients
the same ol' "10 megs for $20/mo, no CGI, 500 meg traffic/mo, no
autoresponder" type of services that appear to be the norm. Personally, I
think a web hosting service that is designed with both the client's needs
*and* the Web Master's needs in mind is the better deal and I will continue
to recommend it to anyone needing full service hosting. If it also helps
to reduce the cost of my own site by making that recommendation (as well as
giving my client the best service for the money,) then all the better.
