Hi, Linda:

No such thing as a stupid question ... but there are ways of making a
questioner appear clueless.

In this medium, All Caps is one of those ways.

The questioner stated that he/she wished to be a freelance web designer.
But the nature of the post suggested that the person was unfamiliar with
the culture. I wouldn't want to hire a mechanic who didn't know that
there were two different sizes of tools and pulled out a metric wrench
to work on my old Chevy!

As I mentioned in my other post -- there is some tact involved in asking
your first quesiton on a discussion list. There's a reason for lurking
and/or responding to other questions for a while before posing your
first query. Think of the last business-type cocktail party you attended
-- how would you feel if a complete stranger walked up and asked you how
much $ you made at your job? Not Done! Discussion lists are communities
as well -- and learning how to interact with those communities is one of
the things that will make/break a web designer, IMO. Walk the talk, so
to speak.
