HOW to adjust their monitor settings, either color depth or rez. Go
spend some time with average users (if that's your audience) and watch
'em ...

This also assumes that people WANT their web browser to fill their
workspace. Not so on UNIX or Macs -- these two environments tend to use
overlapping windows, just like we overlap papers and things on our
"real" desktops. I mean, really -- how many people *completely cover*
everything on their desk so that they can't see 'what's underneath'?

Exactly. Reason for NOT spec'ing to 800. Plus, you can't print the info
without *1* having a postscript printer and *2* knowing HOW to scale!
(very easy on a Mac; complicated on a PC).

Then there are the Palm Pilots and other handhelds. Smaller yet.
