Reminds me of my grandfather, who was actually the first person I knew
to own a "home computer", one of the original Altairs back in '74. An
electrical engineer by profession, my grandfather had a den-cum-lab at his
house in which I spent endless fascinated hours as a child, mesmerized by
the glow of oscilloscopes and the smell of hot solder; I suppose my love
affair with technology began there. I still vividly recall the hundreds of
hours he spent assembling an early Heathkit colour TV, which he promptly
then gave to my mother as a gift -- a long time ago, it was.

He passed away eleven years ago, and I think he would be delighted and
proud to know how his first-born grandchild makes a living now.
