I don't know why this would have started "out of the blue". From my
recollection, my copies of Homesite 3 and 3.0.1 both shelled to the browser
as a default, but here's the Allaire knowledge base take on it:
-----------
You want another way to print your code in HomeSite or you want to be able
to print out Special Characters.
The code is shelled to a browser and then you have to select Print in the
browser. One of the limitations with this is that it won't print Special
Characters. The workaround is to shell the print job to another application
like Notepad.
WorkAround
1. Right click on the toolbar and select "Customize...".
2. Click on the "Add Custom Button".
3. Select "Launch an External Application".
4. Browse to Notepad.exe.
5. In the "Command Line" box enter /p "%CURRENT%".
6. When you want to print a document, click that button and Notepad will
launch, Print and close automatically. This is possible by using the Command
Line /p and "%CURRENT%".
------------
Note: I gave this a quick test and it will not print line numbers.
