Ahem....when offering to provide anyone on the list with a registration
number, one is offering pirated software to users. Given that you made it
sound like it was on the sly, I doubt your offer only extended to
registered users. Allaire is happy to provide 2.5 software to registered
users and I'm certain they would be happy to make sure your registration
number works with the version you are using.
If you mean to only provide a registration number to registered users, I
would respectfully suggest that you are still in violation of your
licensing agreement since the number is not yours to give out.

Sorry Brent. Not meaning to insult you. But you got the number from a warez
site. If you think this is legal you are wrong. If you've made a legitimate
and well intended mistake, then that's fine with me. But I can assure you
that what you offered IS illegal. I'm also certain that Allaire would be
happy to help with any legitimate problems due to registration numbers.
