arrgh! and just when i'd managed to stifle the guilt, too! ;-)
i have to take off shortly for a therapeutic drinking and t-shirt*
vending session, so i don't have time to write the latest installment
right now. i do have some awfully good material, though, including:
- a $100K+ software installation scheduled for next week, where the
vendor will be arriving with hardware known to be flaky.
- last week's phone conference, scheduled by my boss, who has this thing
for trying to market pre-beta software.
- and the one bright spot in the whole of last week, an interview with
an honest-to-god computer geek.
