I, for one, am interested. I came frighteningly close to taking a position
that was in a similar atmosphere to what you're dealing with. They were
quite surprised when I turned it down based on what I learned in the
interview: no real vision of what they wanted from a web presence, no
clearly defined lines of communication as to the final product, etc. I hear
from the sucker who did take it that I made the right decision. He'd almost
had enough before the end of the first week.
The company in question wasn't interested in sub-contractingit out to my
company. They wanted someone under their thumb.
Please let us know what you're dealing with, Mike. It might remind those
who are struggling on their own why they're still doing it.
