Disagree that they can afford to lose desktops/eyeballs to MS Java --
which,I'm sure is why they are in court. MSFT has >90% of the desktop
market -- and LOTS of firms are clamoring to partner with MSFT just to
have a go at a % of that market.

happening here w/one of the boeing partners -- that also is partnering
with MSFT -- and has developed a next generation web version of its
application that is Java based but MS java and supposedly only works on
MSIE except the browser "approved" for use here is NN4.0.
