Yes in a way, because the promise of the Java trademark will be damaged.
This is a trade mark licensing case. To own a trademark, one has to do
some quality control on the items bearing it. MS failed the quality
control, thus in order to retain their right to the Java trademark, SUN
must revoke MS's license rights.

Hardly. There are a LOT of Unix and other systems, a LOT of players.

What MS wants, is to break SUN's license, modify MS Jxxx to be
incompatible, then license it to everyone they can, giving SUN zero for
their efforts for developing and promoting the original Java. Just like
they did to me with my technology. Fortunately, SUN as some financial
muscle to turn in to Legal Clout. I hope they rip MS really hard, barring
them from having any Java-like products. I could see a string of law
suits against MS for Java derivatives which MS will try to field if they
lose. It is not clear whether MS will fall back to Active X or not.

Many corporations ban Active X for the security problems. It is a
firing offense to use Active X and MS Internet Exploder in some
corporations. This is a bad enough security problem that some router
manufacturers are producing routers that can identify and block Active X
related packets.
