I'm running Windows 95B on an Intel P-200 MMX, 32 Mb Ram. Caldera OpenLinux
is intalled on the 2nd hard drive, but disabled and not fully configured
yet. I'm waiting for a second machine to run it on so it won't interfere
with 95.
It's a project I'd like to complete soon and get on what you and others
call a "real operating system". There's time constraints here though, like
doing business first. Besides, I haven't seen anything real useful come out
of Java yet. It's still along the lines of DHTML and "look how cool I am".
Some of the applets may do some useful things, but I'm not worried about
that part. That's why there's Perl and JavaScript. No loading time, clears
from memory, and they both do just as much, if not more, than Java itself.
