Once after an upgrade when the techie didn't configure the motherboard properly
for the new CPU.  Never after that.

It depends.  I've got clients who update their database on their own computer and
just upload the new database every so often.  I've got other clients who update
the database online, but download it to run reports, labels and mailmerges.
