There's another reasons this stat doesn't reflect reality: NT is
inherently a single-user system.  Unix/Linux systems can support *many*
users; I've personally administered systems that routinely had over
300 simultaneous users (32-CPU Sequent Symmetry machines, ~1989).

So for that reason, and for the other ones already cited, I don't
think these figures have any bearing on what's really happening out there.
