I think you are pretty much SOL on this. It's sort of like
telling everyone to call 123-4567 without telling them the
area code or like having them mail something to 'Waverly',
but forgeting to tell them the State -- almost every State
has a 'Waverly'. 'sitename' could be .com, .org, .net or
any number of others. You say you can think of a workable
solution -- it would be interesting to hear it.
